1. Basis of Sale
1.1 - The Contract is between Granite Care of Units 4 & 5 Conway Industrial Estate, Skull House Lane, Appley Bridge, Wigan WN6 9DJ and the person who accepts the quotation from Granite Care for the sales of the goods or whose order of the goods is accepted by Granite Care ("the Customer")
2. Orders and Specifications
2.1 On receipt of an order from a Customer Granite Care will issue an order acknowledgement that will confirm the relevant specification details and price. It is the responsibility of the Customer to ensure that this acknowledgement correctly reflects their requirements and the order acknowledgement must be signed and returned to Granite Care
2.2 The quality, quantity and specification of the goods shall be those set out in the order form, subject to the following:
2.2.1 All natural materials supplied are subject to their natural markings, veinings, variations in colour, cracks and vents. These are supplied cramped, stopped or reinforced where necessary and no claim on this account can be made.
2.2.2 The exact resemblance's of the product supplied to any samples supplied can not be guaranteed.
2.2.3 Descriptions of material offered are for guidance only and do not imply suitability.
2.2.4 All thickness quoted are nominal and no liability is accepted for reasonable variations
3. Price of Goods
3.1 The price of goods is the price stated in Granite Care order acknowledgement. Unless otherwise stated all prices are given inclusive of VAT which will has been charged at the rate applicable at the time of delivery.
4. Terms of Payment
4.1 Customers without an account with Granite Care will be required to make payment as follows.
4.1.1 A £200 Deposit with an order and the balance paid with cleared funds at the time the goods leave the works or earlier if delivery is delayed by the Customer.
4.2 Customers with an account with Granite Care will be required to make payment within thirty days of the date of invoice.
4.3 Granite Care reserves the right to charge interest at the rate of 1.5% above base rate per month on unpaid balances.
5.1 Delivery of goods shall be considered by Granite Care to be made upon physical delivery by Granite Care or collection by the Customer or authorised agent from Granite Care premises
5.2 Any dates quoted for delivery of the goods are approximate only and Granite Care shall not be liable for anydelay in delivery of the goods howsoever caused. Time for delivery shall not be of the essence of the contract unless expressly prior agreed by Granite Care in writing.
5.3 All accesory items purchased on this site are dispatched within 5 working days, fully insured and by carriers of our choice. Tracking numbers will be made available. Should any item not arrive within 28 days of dispatch, a full refund will be given. We will require a written statement from the purchaser, claiming the refund. A copy of your card statement must be included, showing the transaction. Quartz sinks are only supplied when a customer purchases Quartz Worktops.
6. Risk and Property
6.1 Risk of damage to or loss of the goods shall pass to the Customer at the time of delivery or, if the Customer fails to take delivery of the goods, the time when Granite Care has fulfilled delivery of the goods.
6.2 The sole property in the goods shall not pass to the Customer until Granite Care has received full cleared payment. Granite Care reserve the right to, with no notice, attend the customer's or the customer's customer's premises, to collect any items, that remain unpaid, after the due date has passed. Customers, upon receipt of our goods, may not sell our goods on, until Granite Care have been paid in full. This is our retention of title, and the customer agrees to give us a walking posession agreement to collect such goods.
7. Warranties and Liability
7.1 Granite Care shall be under no liability in respect of any defect in the goods arising from any drawing, design, specification or template supplied by or on behalf of the Customer.
7.1.1 Granite Care shall be under no liability in respect of any defect arising from fair wear and tear, wilful damage, negligence, abnormal working conditions, failure to follow Granite Care's instructions (whether oral or in writing, or given at time of delivery), misuse or alteration or repair of the goods without Granite Care's approval, thermal shock from introduction of excessive heat, or staining through lack of applied sealant.
7.2 Any claim by the Customer which is based on any defect in the quality or condition of the goods or their failure to correspond with their description shall (whether or not delivery is refused by the Customer) be notified to Granite Care within three days from the date of delivery. If delivery is not refused, and the Customer does not notify Granite Care accordingly, Granite Care shall have no liability for such defect or failure.
7.3 Where any valid claim in respect of the goods which is based on any defect in the quality or condition of the goods or their failure to match their description is notified to Granite Care in accordance with these conditions, Granite Care shall be entitled to consult their supplier, and or replace the goods (or the part in question) free or charge or, at the discretion of Granite Care, refund to the Customer the price of the goods (or a proportionate part of the price) but Granite Care shall have no further liability to the Customer.

What are you going to get?
We endeavour to get a free quotation to you within 24hours of receipt of your details-without obligation. Online Quotes are instant to a valid e-mail address. Upon confirmation of your order, a date can be arranged for an Installer to template your kitchen. We will require £200 deposit at this stage. The outstanding amount due to be paid (cleared funds) on installation. Your granite worktops will arrive at your property fully finished and ready to install. Any polished cut outs required will be done at the factory (see ‘Upgrades’). The granite will then be fixed to your units and joints done with a compound made to best match the colour of the granite. Please inform the Installers if you would like the joints of your up-stands in specific positions so they can try to accommodate your plans. The fitters will not do any plumbing or electrical connections. We can assure you that you will not get better quality of service or granite and quartz.
What we need?
A relatively accurate drawing of your kitchen lay out showing all measurements for widths, lengths and approximate positioning of sinks and hobs (including the makes and models) to provide a price indication. please make sure that the width of granite you require is correct, and if specific lengths of up-stands are required you have informed us. Easy access to kitchen as some pieces may be heavy i.e. advice of any stairs, tight doorways, or if you are not on the ground floor. All the units are to be in place, levelled and securely fixed to the wall and floor prior to our arrival. If it is to replace existing worktops, the old tops should be removed before our arrival, and any necesary batoning, re fitting and strengthening done. We will require you to sign our ‘satisfaction note’ on completion. It is important that you check over the work as no recourse for any discrepancies can be taken after the Installers leave site.
If the units need levelling, the installers may charge £40 per Hr. We may make a charge if we have not been informed of difficult access as stated. See section ‘What If on arrival at site, the kitchen is not ready, a charge of £150 will be applied and another date arranged.
Full payment for granite and cutting work on completion of fitting, cleared funds only.
We accept all major credit/debit cards. Credit card transactions will attract a fee of 2.55%, debit cards will not.
